As a long-time sponsor of the US Open Tennis Championship, American Express continually looks to bring fans closer to the action. In 2015, we set out to excite Card Members, and future prospects, with an interactive experience they would never forget.
You Vs. Sharapova challenged tennis fans to play a professional athlete in a first-of-its-kind active virtual reality experience using a haptic ‘racquet’. By slipping on a VR headset, fans were transported onto the court to
play against Maria Sharapova.
