Each year tennis fans from around the world descend on New York for the US Open Championship. Coverage lasts for two continuous weeks and gives fans every viewpoint imaginable around the Billie Jean King Tennis Center. Except for one which is reserved only for the players.

 

American express sought to give fans access to the one view they’ve never seen before— from the player’s perspective. By blending various technologies, including holograms, digital projection mapping and physical set pieces, fans went inside a fully immersive mixed media experience, as they travelled from player check-in to locker room to media tunnel and out onto the court of legendary Arthur Ashe stadium.
